Playing With Poop
A time comes when some toddlers start to rip off their diapers and play with the contents, while it never happen with many of them. If your toddler is doing this here are the tips tohelp them give up this habit.
At some point, all children are fascinated and delighted by their feces. Disgust is something we learn over time, and it's dift for very young children to understand that while they are wonderful, lovable and attractive, their poop is smelly and abhorrent.
One way to avoid having children play with their dirty diapers is to monitor them closely and change them at the first whiff of a bowel movement. But it sounds very though. You should encourage your toddler to let you know when he has pooped and praise him lavishly when he do. Two -year-olds are certainly capable of letting mommy know when they need to be changed, and this is often the first step toward toilet training.
Although we all eventually learn that feces are unsanitary, it's not a good idea to emphasize this with very young children because they may come to believe that they, too, are dirty and disgusting.
