Some advice about your first weeks at home
It is good idea to stay around the house for the first week or so
One nap a day is desirable two if possible
Consult with your clinician about how soon you can drive a vehicle
If you are not nursing your baby and your breasts are having trouble drying up, use ice packs. Ask your clinician about medication if your breasts become painful
In a few weeks, you may again experience baby blues. You are especially likely to become cross and irritable if you allow yourself to become overtired. However, this condition is perfectly normal. You will know when it is happening to you, and you will know that it passes
Before you attempt to get pregnant again, it is a good idea to give your body a few months of rest. During this time, your body can rebuild its store of nutrients
