When the little bundle finally arrives, mothers and fathers will be bombarded with visitors, phone calls, preparations, and of course, the new baby. This pregnancy activity will also make those first few weeks more managable.

In your final weeks of pregnancy you might start to get a little, um, how should we say it? Anxious. When this starts to happen, it's important to stay active and busy. We love the idea of preparing food to be frozen and eaten once the baby arrives. Really, who wants to be slaving over a hot stove once the little one finally arrives?
Preparation
There are unlimited types of food that freeze well, so decide what foods you love and go from there. YeahBaby.com offers these suggestions:
- soups frozen flat in double zip-locked bags
- hamburger, turkey, chicken or other pre-cooked meat dishes
- frozen vegetables to be used for stir-fry
- lasagna
- spaghetti sauce
- enchiladas

Variations
Don't forget dessert! Cookies, bars and cake all freeze well in a well-sealed container.
Make sure to freeze the food in a heavy-duty plastic container. If the food is not sealed well, ice crystals will form and the food will taste freezer-burnt!
