Inexpensive Baby Shower Decorations

If you have five minutes to do some Internet research, you can find some really adorable ideas for free, baby shower decorations. Of course, we all know that decorating is a very important part of a baby shower because it sets the mood for theA party. Once you spend some time doing it, you will feel really good when your guests arrive and start raving about the baby shower decorations that you have chosen for your party.

There are a lot of fun, easy ideas that you can use for baby shower decorations. The best way to get started is by using empty baby food jars as votives for candles that are place around the room. This works well since candlelight is both warm and inviting. You can then make a clothesline that hangs across the main party room where you can pin up diapers, onesies, wash cloths and other useful baby items that the mother-to-be can then take home with her at the end of the party.

Using Balloons for Baby Shower Decorations

Balloons always make easy baby shower decorations while also adding color to the room. A great way in which to weigh them down is by using baby shampoo, baby bottles and other such baby supplies that the mother-to-be can then take home with her.

Decorating the Food Table

There are a lot of fun ways in which you can decorate the food table. For instance, you can buy a baby bathtub and fill it with small blue balloons and some rubber duckies for a cute centerpiece. Another great, and very popular, centerpiece is a diaper cake. You can find easy directions online explaining how to make these cakes or you can purchase them from various online vendors.

Baby Shower Decorations for the Dining Tables

For the dining tables, fill small baby bottles with pastel colored candies and tape cute place cards on them. Baby bottles can also be used as vases filled with dainty flowers and placed throughout the room. A cute way of making a napkin holder is by simply using a pacifier. New cloth diapers can then be used as place mats. Of course, all of these things will provide a great conversation starter for your guests while also making a welcomed additional gift for the mother-to-be. Regardless of which, if any, of these ideas you choose to use for your baby shower decorations, you should make sure that it is fun for everyone involved.
